The game Bocce is played using 8 large balls and 1 small ball called a Pallino. It can be played by two, four and a maximum of eight players. Since the balls are evenly divided among the players, it is best and ideal to play the game by four or eight players. A usual Bocce ball set usually has 4 balls of one colour and 4 of a different colour. The Pallino is always a third colour. These colours are designed to tell your teams apart. Nevertheless, some sets of bocce balls may have all different coloured balls. The balls may also have a different design on them, to further help in distinguishing which balls belong to every team.

The primary goal of the game is to get the bocce ball as close as possible to the pallino which will be thrown by your opponents all throughout the game. The game is eventually won when a player or team reaches 13 points. But, the rules may vary according to the group’s consensus. You reach any a high score or point if you desire to at least prolong the fun and excitement.
